My Hometown
When it comes to my hometowns I would say I have two. My first hometown would be Loisville KY, I spent if not all most of my formative years in this city, since I lived there for about 16 years. However my second hometown has since felt more like a hometown to me and that is in Shelbyville KY. I have lived here for about 4 years and already have a whole community around me. Theres no to much in Shelbyville KY besides a Dollar General on every turn and a Waffel House and lots of farm land.
Why UC
I found out about UC through my friend and his family. I did not at the time like the idea of Cumberlands because I had my heart set on a different college that my dad went to, although that fell through because of the price of tution being more then a car and house combined. In the end tho I can't really complain since I love The University of Cumberlands now and I get to go to college with my boyfriend who so happens to be the one who told me about UC.
My Relationship With The Internet
I use the internet alot in my day to day life. I use it to google unhinged questions I have through the day, to watch shows and youtube in my free time. I also use it everyday for classes and work. It is pretty esenticle in my life to be able to access it at work since I often have to help people with their issues and all the programs we use are dependant on the internet. I also love the internet since it allows me to be able to stay connected to my bestfriend who lives in Africa, it also gives me the ability to stay in touch with my family while I am here at college. overal thats pretty much the whole of my relationship with the internet.
